Jody M. Trusty-Grabowski, age 51, of Chappell, Nebraska passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Friday, July 16, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chappell, Nebraska with Deacon Dixon Powers officiating. Services will conclude at the church and inurnment will be held at a later date in Wallace, Nebraska.
The funeral will be streamed live at the Holechek-Bondegard Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hbfunerals) and will be available to watch after the service.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Jody Marie was born to Larry and Darlene (Tillman) Trusty on July 26, 1969 at Grant NE. She was the oldest of four siblings. She grew up in Sutherland, NE. She graduated from Sutherland High School in 1987.
Her grandmother always encouraged her to be a nurse because she thought she would be good at it. She graduated from the Mid Plains Community College LPN program in 1988. Jody loved being a nurse. Wherever she worked, her patients became family to her.
She was united in marriage to Gary Grabowski on December 23, 1995, in Chappell, NE. To this union two sons were born: Ben and Sam. Her boys were her priority. She was proudly at every game, had mandatory Sunday family dinner, and enjoyed every moment spent with them.
She enjoyed all sports, cooking, and baking. She would often share her culinary creations with friends.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Chappell, NE, sons: Ben (special friend McCall Etl of Sterling, CO) of Chappell, NE and Sam (special friend Taryn Strong) of Chappell, NE; brother, Dean Trusty of Sutherland, NE; sisters, Cody (Kevin) Solko of Sutherland, NE and Haly Shields of Louisville, KY; sisters-in-law, Lynette (James) Kerbow of Dallas, TX, and Debbie (Brent) Hernbloom of Fort Collins, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Darlene Trusty; and her mother and father-in-law, Hattie and Alvin Grabowski.
