Nov. 8, 2023 (North Platte, Neb.) — The Francis Street intersection is now open, and William Avenue is closed west of Jeffers Street, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The west leg of the Jeffers and William Avenue intersection will be closed for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Motorists are advised to utilize alternate routes during the closure. The closure is expected to be in place for approximately two (2) weeks.&nbsp;

Paulsen, Inc. of Cozad is the contractor for this project. The closure is for construction of new concrete pavement at the William Avenue intersection.&nbsp;
