David Lloyd Petersen passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington, Nebraska at the age of 72. David was born April 4, 1949 in Sioux City, Iowa to Darrell and Lavonne (White) Petersen.
He graduated from Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha. There, he met Ila Voss and married in 1970. One son, Seth Ryan, was born of this union.
David moved to Lexington, Nebraska in 2000 to be closer to his parents and sister, Linda Kneifl.
A special "Thank You" to David's Hospice Team and Plum Creek Care Center for their excellent care and compassion.
David will be cremated and a service and burial will be in Fort Collins, Colorado at a later date.
