Kathy L. (Supanchick) Johanson, 68, of North Platte, went home to be with her Savior, December 13, 2022. She was born December 16, 1953 to Edward and Marilyn (Stackhouse) Supanchick in North Platte.
Kathy was a graduate of North Platte High School in 1972. In 1973, she was united in marriage to John Joe Johanson and they made their home northwest of North Platte. They were blessed with two loving children and two grandchildren.
Kathy worked for many years at Herbergers department store, Bath and Body Works, and Christopher and Banks before her retirement. She loved serving her customers and those she worked with. Kathy enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. She showed her love for her family and friends with her cooking and baking, especially her caramel cinnamon rolls.
Kathy is survived by her husband John Joe of 49 years; children, Amy Joe and Jacob; grandchildren, Whitney and Ezra; sisters, Marcia (Richard) Prasch of Lexington, Oma Jean (Thomas) Mecomber of Peoria, AZ, Mitzi (Michael)Reuter of Scottsdale, AZ, Jo Ellen (Mark) Schafer of North Platte, Hazel (Richard) Kamna of Eugene, OR; brother, Thomas (Debra) Supanchick of Monroe, OR; her loving mother-in-law, Marie Johanson; brother-in-law, Jim (Rhonda) Johanson of Hershey; sister-in-law, Christy (Kent) Shirley of North Platte; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marilyn; sister, Melissa; father-in-law, John Johanson.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the First Lutheran Church with burial in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
