As we approach holiday celebrations, the West Central District Health Department (WCDHD) is reporting more new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
WCHD reported 140 news cases in their jurisdiction since November 20.
As the cases continue to climb, Great Plains Health and other area hospitals are reporting near capacity levels. WCDHD data shows there are currently 42 people hospitalized. Great Plains Health says four people are currently on ventilators at their facility. The intensive care unit is about 96 percent full.
