LINCOLN, Neb.-After a 12-year hiatus, Garth Brooks is returning to the Cornhusker State for a stadium concert.
The country legend will play August 14 at the home of the Huskers, Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
Brooks has played Pinnacle Bank Arena but has not played a concert venue in Nebraska in over a decade.
“Mark your calendars for the concert of a lifetime, Nebraskans,” said Governor Pete Ricketts. “We are thrilled to welcome Garth Brooks back to the Cornhusker State. Memorial Stadium is the perfect venue for this historic concert as everything gets back to normal here in the Good Life.”
