Marsha Eloise Kirk, age 74, of Palisade, NE passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.
Marsha was born January 6, 1947 in Maysville, KY to parents William J. and Virginia Eloise (Workman) Palecek. She was one of three children born to this union.
On October 18, 1965, Marsha married Lloyd Kirk in Monroe, MI. The couple was blessed with two children, James and Becky. Over the years, Marsha enjoyed her time spent at home, raising her children and being a helpmate to Lloyd. She was a wonderful seamstress and cook. She sewed many outfits for her family throughout the years and loved to fix large meals for all to enjoy. Marsha was also a gifted musician and organ player who gave of her talents selflessly. She collected china and loved gardening and flowers, especially roses.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Lloyd Kirk of Palisade; children, James (Sherlynn) Kirk of Palisade and Becky Smith of Rushville, NE; two brothers, Paul Palecek of Sterling, CO and Stephen Palecek of North Platte, NE; as well as eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
Visitation with family present to greet friends will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook, NE.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM (Central Time)/10 AM (Mountain Time) on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Southwest Nebraska Holiness Church, 34850 Rd 724, rural Wauneta, NE with Rev. Lloyd Bley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Eden Cemetery, rural Wauneta.
