Ronald Walter Missing “Moose”, 63 of North Platte, NE passed away November 12, 2021 at Great Plains Health. He was born on January 30, 1958 to Walter and Opal Missing.  
Ronald grew up in North Platte, Nebraska. He started working for the City of North Platte on September 27, 1976, where he painted street lines, made street signs, and also plowed snow. He retired on January 25, 2016. He enjoyed fishing, bargain hunting, drinking beer, and having a good time with his friends and family. He was a major sports fan who deeply loved the Huskers and collected baseball cards. He enjoyed his westerns and would always be listening to music, blaring it as loud as he could. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He always marched to the beat of his own drum. He will be remembered by his jokes, caring heart, and his stubbornness. 
Ronald is survived by his children, son Derrick (Kippy) Missing; daughter Kelly Missing; step son Joseph Gihon; grandchildren, Annika, Kendal, Sharlet, Joseph, Bentley, LeoVonni; half-brother Billy Hill; niece Cindy Hill Porter, nephew Douglas Bedwell, great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Opal Missing, half-brothers Gary Hill and Dale hill, sister Kathy L. Missing, niece Debbie Hill.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Family burial will be held at later a later date at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.  Book signing will be 9-5, Friday. November 19 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at Kelsey’s Bar after the service.
