After a chance of showers into the early evening Thursday, the National Weather Service is predicting a cooler weekend with clear skies.

Winds will continue to be strong through the weekend, with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph, gusting to 40 mph on Saturday.

The high temperature Friday and Saturday is expected to remain in the low-50s, increasing to near 60 by Sunday.

The work week will begin with a chance of showers Monday through Wednesday.
