The North Platte Community College Softball Team got off to a strong start in game 1 defeating Southeast Community College 6-5. Though fell in the second game to number 1 seeded Central Community College 3-1.
The Knights got out to an early lead going up 6 runs through the first three innings. Though Southeast Community College rallied in the 4th and 5th innings to get the game to within one. The comeback was unsuccessful in the end as the Knights came out on top 6-5.

In Game 2 Taelyn Dakamas got the start again and went 7 full innings only giving up 3 runs as the Knights fell 3-1 to Central Community College.
The Knights got on the board first with Cameron Rollison grounding out to first getting a run home. Though Central Community College pulled away in the fourth inning scoring two runs and getting the victory.

North Platte will play Southeast again at 11 a.m. Sunday. The winner of that game will face-off against Central in a championship round at 1 p.m.
