Anthony Michael Pantenburg was born on June 13, 1965 in McCook, Nebraska to Robert and Barbara (Chapman) Pantenburg. He attended school in McCook. Tony was united in marriage to Tracy Belka on August 10, 1996 in North Platte, Nebraska. Tony and Tracy were blessed with three children: Taylor, Tanner, and Tana.
Tony supported his family as a truck driver and most recently was employed by Gary’s Super Foods and Budweiser. He loved music and was a talented guitar player; Tony shared this gift with others by playing in many bands over the years. A passion for the outdoors led Tony and his family to other interests including fishing, camping, and countless hours spent taking in the open road on motorcycles.
Tony passed away at his home in McCook on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was 58 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Pantenburg as well as his grandparents.
Those left to carry on his memory include his children, Taylor, Tanner, and Tana Pantenburg of North Platte; father, Robert “Bob” Pantenburg of McCook; sister, Brette (Sean) Hankin of Colby, Kansas; and brother, Jon Pantenburg of McCook.
Cremation was chosen and a rosary will be recited at 7PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30AM on Friday morning, April 5, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McCook. Burial in St. Patrick Calvary Cemetery in McCook will follow services.
