Our Mother, Jacque Cunningham 97, passed on to her permanent home in heaven on November 7, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Jacqueline Ruth Hahn was born July 22, 1928 to William and Ethel (Watson) Hahn. Jacque grew up on their dairy farm North of Roscoe. She attended District 15 in Roscoe first through eighth grade and graduated from Concordia High School, Seward, Nebraska in 1946. Jacque was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ogallala, Nebraska where she was a life-long member.

Jacque married John Lloyd Cunningham May 7, 1946 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. Their first home was in Ogallala but soon moved to the Shelburn Farm. During the blizzard of 1949 they built their family home on the Cunningham Farm southeast of Brule and resided there until Lloyd's death.

Jacque was involved in many activities and was valued in the Ogallala Community. She served on The Women's Division of Ogallala Chamber, served as president and general chairman for the Ladies Agriculture Luncheon, was a board member for Ogallala Regional Arts Council and worked election polls for over 25 years. She was a member of LWML and St. Paul's Lutheran Circle 2 where she served many years and was chairman for the German Fall Festival. Her talents were not limited to the Community. She was a member of WIFE (Women Involved in Farm Economics) for 35 years and served as State President and National Area Spokeswoman. She lobbied for farm prices in Washington, DC, making changes to help farmers. She also made valued contacts and was appointed by Governor Kay Ore to the Antique Farm Machinery Commission. She was appointed to the Agricultural Advisory Committee by Senator David Karnes. She received The Business and Professional Women of Achievement award in October 1983.

Jacque, is survived by her children, Roxi (Paul) Brockopp of Parker, CO, Kem ( Joy Werner) Cunningham of Fresno, CA, Mick (Cindy Sandburg) Turco of Lincoln, NE; Grandchildren, Todd Jarosz, Tina (Jarosz) Kozanecki, Melissa (Brockopp) Monroe, Jacque Mae (Lewis) McBride, Blaine Brockopp, Whitney (Turco) Lake, Chelsea Cunningham, Stephanie Turco, Joe Turco, Elise Cunningham and Lisa (Mike) Knaub; 14 great-grandchildren, Collette Jarosz, Lloyd Jarosz, Colbey Kozanecki, Guage McBride, Payton Monroe, Carsyn McBride, Miri Brockopp, Broderick Lake, Foster Brockopp, Donovan Turco, Secilia Turco, Tristyn Macchiaroli, Sierra Knaub and Trenton Knaub; 4 Great Great Grandchildren, Heath Lundeen, Autumn Evans, Kayden Kozanecki and Brooklyn Evans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Cunningham, daughters Glenna Russell and Kandie Lewis, parents, Bill and Ethel Hahn and brother, Glenn Hahn.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2025 with family greeting friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Draucker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Steele Officiating
