Hitchcock County Press Release
Hitchcock County - On Saturday, February 8th 2025. The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle roll over West of Stratton on Highway 34. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Raiden Buffington was transported by ambulance to Dundy County Hospital where he passed away due to his injuries.
Raiden is the son of Hitchcock County Deputy Damon. Our sincerest thought and prayers are with his family, friends and classmates during this extremely difficult time as anyone who knew Raiden knew that he had the ability to light up any room he was in.
