On Tuesday, Aug. 18 a plane crashed into power lines and then a corn field in Scotts Bluff County.
The accident happened north of the City of Scottsbluff at approximately 8:50 a.m.
"The plane hit a power line causing the plane to crash into a corn field and the power line to came down on Highway 71," said Region 22 Emergency Management. "Then a cattle truck hit the power line causing poles and lines to come down two miles either side of the highway."
The pilot of the plane and driver of the cattle truck suffered minor injuries.
No names have been released at this time.
