Josephine Oliver, 99 of Kearney passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney.
Josephine was born March 1, 1921 near Shelton, Nebraska to Edward and Ethel (Jones) Oliver. She attended Country School near Shelton.
Josephine was a very active resident of Mother Hull Home. She enjoyed feeding the birds, watering the flowers, baking and playing BINGO. She also loved to deliver the newspaper to the other resident and visit with them.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Anna DeLaet and husband, Lynn of Kearney; as well as, several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters.

A graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Shelton Cemetery with the Rev. Linda Knipping officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.
