Sarah Virginia (Ginny) Herold of Cozad, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington, Nebraska at the age of 80. Ginny was born December 9, 1939 in Cozad, Nebraska to John Henry and Violet (Lanham) Pebley. She ran a daycare until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Herold; sons, Dallas W. Nichols and James A. Nichols; sisters, Dorothy, Verla and Gladys; and brother Lonnie.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; her daughter, Pamela Lazzara; sons, John L. Nichols and Jodi A. Nichols; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family is thankful for Barb Fleharty for her financial guidance over the years and we are also especially thankful to Sarah's cousin, Harley Nickelson and wife Mary for sharing laughter, a helping hand and Tuesday morning coffee time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cozad, Nebraska with Father Mike Pampara as celebrant. Burial will follow at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Monday, November 30, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
