Kage Anthony received a 364-day sentence in the Lincoln County Detention Center for attempted possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 3A felony. The charge was reduced from a Class 2A felony after Anthony entered a no contest plea. He was credited with 58 days for time already served and will also undergo nine months of post-release supervision.

According to court documents, the case stems from a December 2023 incident in which police allege Anthony fired a shot at a parked van in the 700 block of West 8th Street. Officers later located Anthony at a nearby residence, where they recovered a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Investigators determined the firearm had been reported stolen during a 2021 burglary.

Anthony was sentenced earlier this week in Lincoln County District Court.
