NORTH PLATTE - The National Weather Service has issued dangerous winter weather conditions for the entire state and include our listening area.
A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for all of western and north central Nebraska through Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service also says theirs a possible chance of snow Sunday evening into early Monday morning. Many area schools have cancelled events due to the weather.
The eastern half of the state was hit hard in the winter storm that rolled in the last few days. As of now, many areas in eastern, southeast and northeast have closed roads due to the weather.
According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, in our listening area, Highway 92 from Arnold to Merna is considered impassable. Many roads in the area are always being affected by the weather. Colorado has also been affected by weather.
