Omaha, Ne - Twelve area wrestlers have made it to the state semifinals at CHI Center in Omaha, set for Friday night. North Platte High sends 3 (A13 Ty Haneborg, So/A144 Jace Kennel, Sr/A157 Lathen Huntsman, Jr), Sutherland also will have 3 boys in the semifinals (D113 Grady Dempcy, Jr/D138 Cauy Kohl, Sr and Luke Harper, Jr also at D138).

Chase County will be represented by Luis Co a Junior in Class C at 144 pounds and Jaret Peterson a Senior at 215 pounds in Class C. Hershey Freshman Zane Woodward will represent the Panthers in Class C at 120 pounds. Ogallala has a semifinalist in Jorge Carrizales at B 138, South Loups Dawson Mason is in the semifinals in Class D 132 pounds and Perkins County's Juan Perez qualifies in Class D 285.
Class B & C will start Friday morning at 9:30am with the 1st Round Consolation matches, followed by 2nd round consolations. Class A, D & Girls 1st and 2nd round consolations will begin at noon, and the semifinals kickoff at 6:30pm Friday night.
