Marie E. Shultz, age 73, of Broken Bow, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow. She was born on May 3, 1947.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Broken Bow, Nebraska with Pastor Kathy Salts PMA officiating. Burial will be at a later time.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at www.govierbrothers.com.
Marie Eileene Shultz was born on May 3, 1947 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Merrill and Helen (Manning) Shultz. Marie grew up in the Grand Island area, from 1957-1978 Marie lived in Beatrice, Nebraska. In 1978, Marie came to Mid-Nebraska Individual Services in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Marie collected Angels over the years, she enjoyed listening to Country Music, watching TV, Teddy Bears, having her hair & nails done, fresh flowers, shopping, and having coffee with her friends. This past year, Marie enjoyed having a roommate.
Marie is survived by many siblings.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Merrill & Helen Shultz.
