Jeanette M. Burkhalter, age 61, a resident of Bird City, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska. Jeanette was born on February 21, 1959.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin, of Bird City, KS; her daughter, Jenna Dare (Jonathan) of Byers, CO; her son, Beau Brukhalter of McDonald, KS; a son-in-law, Tim Rippe of Ludell, KS; and a brother, Doug Downing (Margaret) of McCook, NE.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning, January 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Benkelman, NE with Father Matt Eickhoff as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery, Benkelman, NE.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening, January 14, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. Mountain time at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Benkelman, NE
