Eileen Marie Waterman, 75, passed away December 5, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 26, 1946 in Omaha and was welcomed to her home in North Platte by her parents John and Edna (Harbert) Waterman.
Eileen graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1964.  She then attended business college in North Platte.  She married Warren Lee Cecil in San Diego in 1965, to this union two children were born, Deirdre and Murray.  They later divorced, but remained close until Warren’s passing in 1995.  Eileen married Steve Toelle in November of 1978 and they welcomed child #3, “Baby Joey”.  Eileen and Steve later divorced.  During this time, Eileen attended nursing school at Mid Plains Community College and became a nurse.  She enjoyed patient care and spent close to 30 years in nursing, working at Great Plains Health, North Platte Care Center, Linden Court, Centennial Park, and The Ambassador in Lincoln. 
In 2013 Eileen moved to her daughter Dee’s in Sutherland and worked at Walmart until her health declined.  She continued to visit friends and go to lunch at the airport with the class of 1964.  She was an amazing mom and best friend to her children and an incredible Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Waterman; numerous aunts and uncles.

Eileen is survived by her son, Murray (Shari) Cecil of North Platte; daughter, Dee (Ross) Nichelson of Sutherland; son Joseph Toelle (Cassandra Schultz) of North Platte; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; best friends, Nancy Kubes of Lincoln and Juanita Ady of North Platte.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Pastor Jeremy Rinke officiating.  Visitation will be held noon-7:00, with family present 5:00-7:00, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is charge of arrangements. 
The service will be livestreamed via the Adams & Swanson Facebook page for those unable to attend.
