Red flag warnings are in effect for counties north and east of Lincoln County until 8 p.m., the National Weather Service in North Platte warned.
The high in Lincoln County is expected to be in the low-60s. Northwest winds will be sustained at 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
The mercury will begin to rise as the work week begins. The high Monday and Tuesday is expected to reach the upper-70s.
The next chance of precipitation is a chance of showers or thunderstorms in the early morning hours Wednesday.
