Betty Muhlenkamp, 86 of Puyallup, WA, formerly of North Platte departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
Betty was born on July 3, 1936 in North Platte, NE the daughter of Levi and Amelia (Stoddard) Powell.
She was married to John G. Muhlenkamp, Jr. and together they raised six sons. Betty worked as a contract administrator for the Boeing Corporation for many years until her retirement in 2008. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are her sons, John III (Diane) of Dubois, WY, Daniel of Long Beach, CA, David (Sheila) of Torrington, WY, Levi (Margaret) of Swanville, MN, and Charles (Crystal) of Puyallup, WA; sisters, Blanche, Viola, Leva, Alberta (Clifford), and Bonnie; brother-in-laws, Nicholas (Opal), and Henry (Kathy); sister-in-law, Clara Vencill, all of North Platte; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John, and a son, Larry (Nancy).

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ft. McPherson National Veterans Cemetery near Maxwell. Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
