Helen “Dollie” J. Bussard-Miller, age 84, of McCook, went to be with Jesus, on October 13, 2021, from her home in McCook.  She was born in Boise, ID on December 21, 1936 to Fredrick and Freda (Smith) Ulrich.  On January 17, 1952, Dollie was united in marriage to Raymond “Ray” Shannon Bussard to this union eight children were born: Cheri, Marie, Jerry, Cherri, Terry, Carri, Cathy, Leslie, and Cindi. Raymond preceded her in death on June 25, 1992.
Dollie was employed at Hillcrest Nursing Home in environmental services.  She did housekeeping for several families and worked at the Electric Hose and Rubber Plant in the seventies.
Dollie had a passion for playing cards and belonged to several card clubs, the Merlin Victory Club, K T Club, and the Friday Night Eagle’s Club.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church and served her church in many capacities.  She was served as a deacon, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was an active participant in Bible Study groups and the Women’s Fellowship. Dollie was a Prayer Warrior, praying for many people in the church and the Community.  She and the family would travel to Wyoming to visit family and loved to camp at the lake. She enjoyed watching the many squirrels in her yard.  Dollie had an open invitation that the coffee was always on, and the door was open. Her biggest joy was spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; infant daughter, Cheri; son, Terry (Mary) Bussard; sister, Judy Lang; and son-in-law, Randy Bales.
Dollie is survived by her four daughters: Cherri Fune of McCook; Carri Bales of McCook; Cathy Bussard of North Platte; and Cindi (Robert) Downey of McCook; two sons, Jerry Bussard of Tecumseh, NE and Leslie Bussard of McCook; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Albert Miller of McCook; sister-in-law, Bobbi Hankins of McCook; and brother-in-law, Jack Lang. 
Cremation was chosen and memorial services are pending.  Friends may leave online condolences at herrmannfh.com.  Memorials may be left in her name at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel.  Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
