COZAD, Neb. — The Cozad Area Chamber of Commerce will host one of the community’s signature summer events, the 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament and Hot Air Balloon Festival, on Saturday, May 31, at the Cozad Country Club.
The family-friendly festival returns with a full day of activities, highlighted by colorful hot air balloon flights from Platte Valley Tailwinds and rounds of celebrity golf. Organizers say the event offers something for everyone — from live music and a steak dinner to vendor shopping and kid-friendly games.
As night falls, the skies will light up with a balloon glow, providing a dramatic and memorable close to the day’s festivities.
“This event is about bringing the community together, supporting local businesses, and showing what Cozad has to offer,” the Chamber said in a statement.
