Glen Dean Hall, 72, of North Platte, NE passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home. Glen was born on October 1, 1951 in North Platte, the son of Loren Dean and Lois (Sellers) Hall.
Glen grew up in Brewster, NE and graduated from Brewster High School in 1969. He was married to the love of his life, Tamara Jean Higgins in North Platte on October 11, 1975, and together they had 7 sons.
During the early part of their marriage, Glen loved raising and showing Hereford cattle. He was a true cowboy who loved horses, attending horse auctions, showing prize horses, and talking about horses. One of his proudest moments was placing on a horse he raised at the American Rope Horse Futurity in Fort Worth, TX. Glen worked most recently as the feed mill manager for North Platte Feeders. He had a strong work ethic and was known for his never complaining and tough attitude in life. He loved all his boys, taking time to talk with them every day. Most important to him was when all his family was able to be together.
Glen was predeceased by his parents, a son, Trustin Hall, and brother, Duane Hall.
Those left to cherish Glen’s memory are his wife of 49 years, Tamara; sons, Rob (Karen) Hall of Elberta, AL, Trever (Heidi) Hall of North Platte, Daren (Shelly) Hall of Norwalk, Iowa, KyLee (Sheree) Hall of North Platte, Colby (Robin) Hall of North Platte, and Quentin (Casey) Hall of Paso Robles, CA; grandchildren, Caleb, Cole, Emma, Aubry, Trustyn, Westyn, Bryce, Cameron, Haze, and Alisha.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Brewster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18th with the family receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements. A gathering for family and friends will follow the burial at 6:00 p.m. at the Wild West Arena pavilion in North Platte.
