Selina June Brown, 70, of Paxton, Nebraska, passed away October 23, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte.  She was born October 21, 1951 to Charles Struby Jr., and Margaret Boyce, in Kimball, Nebraska.
Selina grew up in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.  She met and married George Brown on July 22, 1969. To this union 6 children were born; Robert, Theresa, Jimmy, Allan, Timothy and Whitney.  The couple lived in Kimball, LaGrange, and Pine Bluffs before making their home in Paxton, Nebraska.  She was a stay-at-home mom who took care of her 6 kids and provided for her family.  Selina was always there for her friends and especially family.  She loved fiercely.  She was the glue to the family, always advocating for family gatherings.  She loved to cook for an army.  Selina loved fishing, camping, gardening and taking care of her flowers, especially poinsettias.  She was an avid pool player and was on 3 different pool teams.  She met her friends every morning for tea at “Swedes” to socialize. 
Selina is survived by her 6 children, Robert (Mary) of Holyoke, CO, Theresa Sharp (Jerry) of North Platte, Jimmy (Jackie) of North Platte, Timothy (Misty) of Topeka, Kansas, Whitney (Alana) Brown of North Platte, and Allan Brown of Paxton; 1 sister, Norma (Gordon) Mauer; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Struby; and husband George Brown and son-in-law, Rob Sharp.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. 
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home Chapel, with Ron Jay officiating.  Book signing will be 9 – 5 p.m., Thursday, November 4.  Inurnment will follow the service at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska.
