OMAHA, Neb.-Each year, U.S. News &amp; World Report evaluates more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide to develop their annual list of Best Hospitals. Again, Nebraska Medical Center is the #1 rated hospital in the Omaha metro area and in the state of Nebraska. Additionally, our cancer and gastroenterology and GI surgery programs both received national rankings. In the 16 specialty areas, 134 hospitals were ranked in at least one specialty.
