North Platte, NE – August 3, 2021 Mid-Plains United Way plans to launch their annual nonprofit campaign with a first ever golf tournament at River’s Edge Golf Course. This tournament is set to make a substantial impact in the local community. United Way aims to bring about positive changes and opportunities in the region with the proceeds.
The golf tournament will kick off on Saturday, October 2 at River’s Edge with registration beginning at 7:30 am, followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 am. A luncheon and prizes will be awarded. A silent auction will also be held. The tournament is limited to 24 teams of 4. The cost is $350/team or $500/team & to sponsor a hole. Local businesses, community leaders, and all other individuals are encouraged to join!

Mid-Plains United Way is a nonprofit organization in North Platte, NE working to build a caring community. Did you know that 98% of all donations stay right here in our community? We primarily conduct fundraising for local non-profits so they have time to focus on providing services to our community. However, we also help with connecting resources. When a business has goods to donate, we help place those donations. When someone needs help, we direct them to an organization that can provide them with food, utility assistance, etc. We also work with other organizations to overcome obstacles that our community is facing.
