Coaches for this summer's upcoming West Nebraska All-Star football game and volleyball match have been chosen.
Garden County's Chad Dormann is the West team football head coach with Scot Anderson from Sidney, Ian Bish of Valentine and Trevor Ginkens from Hay Springs assisting. Dustin Kronhofman of Arapahoe is leading the East team with assistants coming from Cozad (Jayce Dueland), Brady (Andy Seaman) and Arapahoe (John Strand).
For the volleyball match, Natasha Haupt of Leyton leads the West squad with assistant help from Chase County's Kristi McNair. Rebecca Stearns of Brady is the East head coach and Maddy Krebs from North Platte St. Pat's will join her on the bench.
The football all-star game and volleyball match are both set for June 7 in Scottsbluff. Volleyball serves at 3:00 on the WNCC campus in Cougar Palace following the football game that begins with kickoff at 11:00 a.m. in Bearcat Stadium on the Scottsbluff High School campus.
