Community Connections Welcomes New Substance Abuse Prevention Systems Coordinator

North Platte, Neb. – Community Connections is excited to announce Mackenzie Slonaker as the organization’s new Substance Abuse Prevention Systems Coordinator. Mackenzie brings professional training in the areas of trauma informed care, mental health and substance abuse from her previous work with Rape/Domestic Abuse Program of North Platte. Mackenzie has 2 daughters and spends her time caring for them and their dog, Max. Mackenzie is passionate about creating healthy communities.

Mackenzie brings her previous knowledge and current passion to the position that will help prevent substance misuse while working alongside community members and collaborative partners. Mackenzie is excited to connect with Lincoln County residents to impact the rates of substance misuse harm.
