North Platte, Neb. - Department wide, during the Halloween weekend, Officers made 52 traffic contacts. Of the 52 traffic contacts, eleven citations were issued. Two people were cited for DUS. Six people were arrested for DUI.
During one of the DUI arrests, two adult females interfered with the arrest and were jailed for obstruction of a police officer. Five people were arrested for MIP. Four arrest warrants were served. One person was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The North Platte Police Department responded to 169 calls for service over the weekend.
