Temperatures will remain below normal for late March over the next several days, the National Weather Service in North Platte said.
There is also a 20 percent to 40 percent chance of a wintry mix beginning Friday morning and lasting into Monday night.
The daytime high in the lower-50s Friday will dip to high in the low- to mid-40s through the weekend. Overnight lows will dip to around 20 Saturday through Monday.
The skies are expected to clear by Monday night and warmer air is set to arrive next week, with a Wednesday high near 60 predicted, the NWS said.
