Lori Cranwell, age 62 of Broken Bow, NE, passed away January 9, 2024, at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow. Burial will be at a later date in the Purdum Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands. A register book may be signed at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Lori Ann Cranwell was born March 12, 1961, in Blair, NE to Art and Marilyn (Saner) Bendig. Lori graduated from Arlington High School in 1979.
Lori worked several jobs at Double T Bar in Halsey, Dunning Bar, Grocery Store in Anselmo, and Becton Dickinson for 22 years. Lori was a faithful employee. Lori married Craig Cranwell at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Broken Bow on August 20, 2011. The couple made their home in Broken Bow,
Lori enjoyed listening to music, dancing, shopping for bargains, and family time.
Lori has battled and suffered from Alzheimer’s for four years.
Lori is survived by her husband Craig of Broken Bow, children Angie (Luke) Paladino of Papillion, Shelby Zachary of Lincoln, and Bryan Miller of Broken Bow, three grandchildren Joey Paladino, Erik Paladino, and Trevor Paladino, stepson Jason (Jordan) Cranwell, step-grandchildren Mia and Myka Cranwell, sisters Karen (Jim) Swisher of Halsey and Teresa Stadler of Axtell, and a brother David Bendig of Nebraska.
Lori was preceded in death by two infant children and her parents.
