Rascal Martinez will take the stage Friday night at the Prairie Arts Event Center for a special Friday the 13th performance beginning at 7 p.m.
Martinez, originally from southern Nebraska, has toured across the United States for more than 15 years. He performs a mix of Americana originals along with 1950s and 1960s covers, playing venues that range from high schools to senior centers, weddings and corporate events.
Friday’s show will feature Martinez alongside Brian Wheeler on keys for what he describes as a relaxed, intimate evening of music. The concert will include original songs, familiar favorites and even the chance for audience requests. Martinez is also preparing to release new music later this month.
General admission tickets are $20. A $65 VIP package includes two tickets, a bottle of wine and a light dessert for two, making it a fitting option ahead of Valentine’s Day weekend.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at prair ieartscenter.org under the events tab. Merchandise will also be available at the show.
