
Pedro H. Gonzales, Jr., 66, of North Platte, NE passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the home of his sister Renee. He was born on December 6, 1954 to Pedro H. Gonzales, Sr. and A. Jean (Bushong) Gonzales in Garrett, IN.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during operation “Desert Storm,” and was stationed following the War in both Panama and Germany for several years until honorably discharged. He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a rail express transporter. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports of all kinds. He especially was an avid football fan and fan of the NY Yankees. He loved cooking and eating Mexican food. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his parents Pedro and Jean; brothers, James and Manuel Gonzales; and sister, Rosie Doswell.
Surviving Pedro are his siblings, Lynne Gonzales (Deb) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Cindy Wing of Ft. Wayne, IN, Linda Yoshida of North Platte, Aurora Higdon (Scott) of Parker, CO, Yvonne Clang (Joe) of North Platte, Elana Moreno of Butte, MT, and Renee Gonzales of North Platte; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Brant, Ron, Kelly, Brett, Susan, and many other friends and relatives.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Ft. McPherson National Veterans Cemetery near Maxwell, NE.
