Mark Lloyd Davis of North Platte, Nebraska passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 19, 2021 at the age of 68.
Mark was born in North Platte on August 4, 1952, the son of Raymond and Marie (Madison) Davis. He grew up in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School in 1970.
On August 22, 1970, Mark wed Vikki Westphal, then they moved to Kearney, Nebraska where Mark was enrolled in Kearney State College. The couple eventually moved to Estes Park, Colorado where they both worked for Rocky Mountain National Park for several years before returning home.
Mark's hobbies included shooting, reading and learning about history. He was a true 'history buff." He also enjoyed NASCAR, caring for goats and chickens, and had a great love for his family.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Vikki; and his parents, Raymond & Marie Davis.
Survivors include his daughters, Johnna (Shawn) Silos of North Platte, NE and Joni Davis of Selma, TX; grandchildren, Melissa Townsend, Neissa (Kaelin) Becker, Tylan Silos and Sydney Silos; great-grandkids, Ace Davis and Vera Becker; as well as other family that he loved so dearly.
Cremation was chosen. A private family service will be at a later date.
