A North Platte man is in the Lancaster County Detention Center, accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
According to online court records, on December 31, Lincoln police were contacted by a 15-year-old girl who alleged that 21-year-old Christian Buck had sexually assaulted her.
Court records say the girl told officers she met Buck via Facebook and had wilfully met with him.
Lincoln police say when Buck and the alleged victim returned to her home, she invited Buck in and they started kissing in her bedroom. The girl claims she attempted to stop Buck, but he refused.
Court records say the girl eventually awoke her mother and police were contacted.
According to court records, police found Buck sleeping in the girl's bed and placed him under arrest.
Buck has been charged in Lancaster County with one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He made his preliminary court appearance on Monday.
