LINCOLN, Neb. (September 3, 2024) – The Nebraska Sports Council has announced that registration is open for the 2024 Heartland Havoc wrestling tournament, set to take place November 9-10, 2024, at Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln. The event offers competition in individual events on Saturday, Nov. 9 and a dual competition on Sunday, Nov. 10, for pre-K through 12th grade wrestlers.
Early registration is encouraged as spots are expected to fill quickly, with the tournament limited to the first 600 wrestlers. The individual registration deadline is Thursday, Nov. 7. Duals teams must be registered by Nov. 1.
"We are thrilled to bring together wrestlers from across the region for the Heartland Havoc," said Dave Mlnarik, President of the Nebraska Sports Council. "The Havoc is a great pre-winter tune-up and showcase for high schoolers as well as junior wrestlers."
