North Platte, Neb. - The city of North Platte sanitation department will be closed Wednesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. There will not be any refuse collection that day.
Please have your carts in place two days ahead of your normal pick-up day to avoid being missed.
All garbage needs to be in the city issued containers and the lids must be closed. No bags or trash on the ground.
The transfer station will be closed Wednesday, December 25. It will reopen on Thursday, December 26 with regular hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Household Hazardous Waste collection will be open on Thursday, December 26, from 7a.m. to 1 p.m. located at 1308 N Sycamore St.
