Ronald L. "Ron" Sabata, age 81, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on January 11, 2023. Ron was born on May 30, 1941 in David City, Nebraska to Frank and Evangeline (Mazanec) Sabata.
Ron served in the Nebraska Army National Guard for 20 years. He was a realtor for Caldwell Banker and raised registered Black Angus cattle. Ron was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, past president of Nebraska Realtor's Association and was very active in the Nebraska Angus Cattle Association.
Family members include his brother, Val(Deanna) Sabata; nephew, Brian (Sarah) Sabata; sister, Marlene (Joe) Rerucha; and niece and nephew, Jennifer Siefkes and Mark Rerucha.

Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska. Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.
