North Platte, Neb. — A closure will be in place on Francis Street between Dewey and Jeffers, beginning today, August 1, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. The closure is expected to be in place for approximately three (3) weeks.
The eastbound and westbound lanes of Francis Street will be closed. Motorists are advised to utilize alternate routes during the closure.
Paulsen, Inc. of Cozad is the contractor for this project. The closure will be for reconstruction of the concrete pavement on the Francis Street intersection.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
