Patrick McConnell, age 68, of Broken Bow, Nebraska passed away on October 1, 2020 at Brookstone View in Broken Bow, where he received excellent care.
Pat was born on November 28,1951 to Merle & Deloris McConnell in North Platte, Nebraska. He was the oldest of 3 children. Pat grew up on the family farm near Sarben, Nebraska. He atteneded and graduated from Paxton High School in Paxton, Nebraska.
Pat spent most of his life working in the irrigation business in Kansas and northern Nebraska. He enjoyed fishing, shooting and hunting geese.
Pat moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska in 2010 where he met Ruth Cassel and they were married on March 25, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth and brother Michael; and his brother Mark McConnell of Paxton, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2020 at the Lillian Church of Christ, 43949 Lillian Rd, Broken Bow, Nebraska. A lunch will follow. Internment will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Westerville Cemetery in Custer County, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Lillian Church of Christ, where Pat was a member. Iverson Memorial Chapel of Broken Bow, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.
