Mariah Jade Rizo, age 25, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala.
Mariah was born September 28, 1995 in Ogallala, NE to Brian Rizo and Amy Torres.
She went to school in Ogallala until High School when she went to Paxton High School and graduated from there in May of 2013.
Mariah worked for restaurants in Ogallala, after she graduated she moved to Colorado Springs, CO working there until returning to Ogallala in 2017.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mariah is survived by her father, Brian Rizo, of Colorado Springs, CO; her mother, Amy Torres, of Ogallala; a brother, Jaron Rizo; 2 sisters; Juliana Zehnle and Lilleigh Rizo, all of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 grandmothers, Peggy Rizo, of Colorado; Kari Guzman, of Ogallala; 2 great-grandmothers, Virginia Kelley and Martha Torres, both of Ogallala.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Torres.
A Memorial Service will be held, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel in Ogallala with Rev. John Stubenrouch of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ogallala officiating.
A Private Family Committal of the cremains will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
