Patty Quemè, age 50, of North Platte, NE passed away on November 8, 2020 at Great Plains Health.
She was born on March 10, 1970 at Quetzaltenango, Guatemala to Jose Luis Piedrasanta and Clara Reyes. Patty grew up in Quetzaltenango and in 1991 she graduated as a secretary and office clerk. She studied at San Carlos University of Guatemala where she graduated as a social worker in 1996. Patty served actively at Iglesia Palabra en Accion in Quetzaltenango.
Patty was united in marriage to German Quemè, February of 2013 at the Lincoln County Court House, where the couple has been living in North Platte, NE until the present day. They had the privilege of being Pastors at Dios es Amor Church. She served some time teaching bible study for children. Patty also served the North Platte community by giving out boxed food weekly. She worked for Menards and Walmart for a few years.
She is survived by her husband, German Quemè; mother, Clara Reyes; sister, Olga Marina Reyes; brother, Jose Luis Piedrasanta; and nieces and nephews, Christian, Pavel, Claudia and Alejandra; brother in law, Nery; and sister in law, Carmen, Veronica, Lety and Olga; and nieces and nephews of her husband.
Patty was preceded in death by her father, Jose Luis Piedrasanta; and sisters in law, Guadalupe and Rosa.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Lead Pastor Santos Ordoñes officiating. She will be taken home to Guatemala for burial. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 12, 2020 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, 1616 West B St., North Platte, NE 69101.
The service will be livestreamed via the Carpenter Memorial Chapel Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. The family kindly asks that masks to be worn during visitation and services. Services will be held following all current health directives regarding Covid-19. Memorials may be made to the family for designation at a later date. Tuvieron el privilegio de ser Pastores de la Iglesia Dios es Amor. Ella sirvió algún tiempo enseñando estudios bíblicos para niños. Patty también sirvió a la comunidad de North Platte repartiendo comida en caja, semanalmente. Ella trabajó para Menards y Walmart durante algunos años.
Le sobreviven su esposo, German Quemé; madre, Clara Reyes; hermana, Olga Marina Reyes; hermano, José Luis Piedrasanta; y sobrinas y sobrinos, Christian, Pavel, Claudia y Alejandra; cuñado, Nery; y cuñadas, Carmen, Verónica, Lety y Olga; sobrinas y sobrinos de porte del esposo.
Patty fue precedida en la muerte por su padre, José Luis Piedrasanta; y cuñadas, Guadalupe y Rosa.
Los servicios funerarios serán a las 11:00 a.m. y 3:00 p.m. Viernes 13 de noviembre de 2020 en Carpenter Memorial Chapel con el pastor general Santos Ordoñes oficiando. La llevarán a su casa en Guatemala para el entierro. La visitacion será de 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. el 12 de noviembre de 2020 en Carpenter Memorial Chapel, 1616 West B St., North Platte, NE 69101.
