Deborah McConnell, age 51, of North Platte, passed away at Great Plains
Health on September 26, 2022, following health complications.
Deborah, the daughter of Eugene 'Hack' and Faustine 'Frosty' Hakenkamp, was born January 25, 1971, in North Platte where she was raised. Deb graduated from North Platte High School then married Timothy McConnell on May 26, 1990.
Deb and Tim lived in various Nebraska communities including Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Paxton, St. Paul, Tryon, Norfolk and North Platte. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores to find a bargain and watching crime shows on television. Deb loved her pets and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hack and Frosty Hakenkamp; her husband, Tim McConnell; and brother, Steve McNulty.
Survivors include her sister, Kathy (Tom) Guggenmos of North Platte and her significant other, Michael Garcia of Elwood; as well as other family.
In keeping with Deb's wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no
