So I came across you actually messaged me on Facebook about a cool thing that you're doing this Sunday at the Fox Theater downtown North Platte, and that is a prayer service for the people of Ukraine. But I think the backstory behind your post is kind of cool. You directed Fiddler Fiddler on the Roof at the playhouse. Right? Which of course is goes right along with the Russians and is about a Russian family. So tell us kind of how you came up with this idea based off of that? Well,

during Fiddler on the Roof. There were just so many lines, in so many things expressed that it really made me think about what was going on in the world at that time. And at that time, it was it wasn't Ukraine, it was Afghanistan, if I remember, right, but it was like all these people are having to leave their home. And, and a tough guy from Fiddler on the roof was actually set in Ukraine. And so, you know, it's like, Fiddler on the Roof has been my favorite musical since I was in sixth grade. So that's been kind of a, I don't know, it just really spoke to me. And then, you know, we went from that to the sound of music, which is the Austrian family being forced out of their home. And now the high schools doing Anastasia, which is the royal family in Russia, are executed and part of the Russian Revolution. And it's just like, North Platte is being kind of saturated with this right now. And I think it's kind of a special thing. And I just really felt the I don't want to say the call. But I guess that's what it was to put together this prayer service. And I don't know how many people are going to come there maybe three. There may be 300. I don't know. But I would I would like to see a good crowd do it. And if they can't come, I hope that in their homes. They're taking time to pray for these people.

Yeah. So you're you're holding this prayer service this Sunday at the Fox Theater, downtown North Platte. 7 pm you're gonna open the doors up at 330. So 630 Or excuse me? 630? I don't know, why is that 330. But anyway, 630 you're gonna open if you want to come at 330 and hang out downtown, I'm sure they'd let you. But anyway, yeah, 630. So people come in and socialize a little bit before it gets started. But then it's gonna be just about lifting up the people of Ukraine in prayer. And it's, you know, you always hear about the six degrees of separation, or it's a small world. You were telling me before we came on air, one of our basketball players at the college is Ukrainian. Actually, there are two of them. And one for sure, as grandparents right in the thick of it right.

And, you know, I can't imagine how helpless they feel, and worrying about their family. It's got to be nerve-racking for them. I understand there's a doctor at the hospital who's Ukrainian. And I've put out kind of a plea towards him. I haven't heard back, but I would like for him to be there. To give a little background of the area I'm not familiar with and just let us know, you know what this is like, I'm sure they're in communication, or he's in communication, possibly with family. And I've heard there are others in the community. But I haven't been able to track him down specifically. So I just keep saying spread the word, spread the word and have him call me and, you know, I'm trying to get pastors to join in the leadership of it. To read scripture or meditation and then a brief prayer and just do segments like that. And I guess it doesn't really even have to be pastors, it's lay leaders, anybody that feels LED. If they would give me a call, that would be great. Yes, I would. I'm trying to figure out timewise I don't want to, you know, to go on forever, but a half-hour, 45 minutes, maybe an hour. We'll just see how the Holy Spirit leads us.

Yeah, just take it as it comes. And worth noting nondenominational gathering and it doesn't matter what which faith you know, you belong to you're welcome to come. Right. Exactly. So it's happening again, this Sunday, Fox Theater 301 East Fifth Street in downtown North Platte, the canteen district seven o'clock doors open at 630. And like Darrell said, you know, just come in and be ready to gather and lift up the people of Ukraine in prayer. As we all know, they could definitely use the prayers right

now. You know, it's like you mentioned earlier don't know there's gonna be three there. 300 They're about where two or more gathered and his name is there with us. And so we're just trusting that

Scotty talked with Cassie from the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association about this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's. Listen for details.&nbsp;

We are joined this morning by Cassie from the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association. Cassie, thank you for joining us today. First of all,

So it's a big-time, it seems like October is a long way away. But it'll be here before we know it. Of course, one of your big events every year is the walk to end Alzheimer's. We now know the dates of those walks across Nebraska and registration is open. So we thought we'd have you on to give us the details on how we get involved with this great event, Cassie?

Yeah, like I said, thanks so much for having us, we are gearing up and getting super excited. It is only March. But October is gonna be here before we know it. So we are making a couple of changes. We're very excited about that. We are going to have our North Platte walk on a Saturday morning. We've traditionally done Sunday, kind of after church. But we said you know what? Let's adjust that. Let's do Saturday morning, we can have this amazing event and this connection with each other in our community. And then we have the rest of the weekend. So we're excited. We're hoping that it'll fit better into people's schedules. And we'll see what happens.

We're talking with Cassie from the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association and talk about events like this and why they're so important to your organization. Cassie?

Yeah, absolutely. Our walk to end Alzheimer's is our largest fundraising signature event. And what that means is it provides the funding for all of the amazing things that the Alzheimer's Association does throughout the state, our support groups, our helpline that is available 24/7 Our website, the education that we provide for families, and for professional settings that might need a little bit of help and how they interact with our clients who are living with Alzheimer's or other dementia. But it goes so much farther than that. You know, we have people who advocate for policy that is going to benefit those who are living with the disease, and their caregivers for increased funding and research, which we know is critical. And then of course, that research component, which is so huge, and is ultimately going to help us find them celebrate that first survivor. And so the funding that goes into the association helps us provide all of these amazing services and this change for our family.

Cassie from the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association. And of course we know Alzheimer's a horrible disease for the patient, but not only for the patient who's suffering from it, but also it's one of those diseases that kind of everyone I don't want to say suffers from but impacts everyone who's around that person. And you mentioned the caregivers. I think it's important for caregivers to know there's a support system out there for them. Talk about some of the resources you guys have available for caregivers who might just need some advice.

Yes, absolutely. Our helpline is available 24/7. It's staffed by licensed clinicians, Masters level social workers, people who are ready to answer very simple questions. If you're a neighbor, and you say, Hey, how can I support the people who live next door, I know that they're going through a hard time. Or if it's something that's more complex, and you're a family, you need to get together and you need to make a care plan for mom or dad or whoever that loved one might be. And so that number is 800 272 3900. Again, they are available 24/7. It's our staff at the Alzheimer's Association. I know 800 numbers can make people a little bit nervous. But they are just phenomenal. I can't say enough about the amazing work that they do. If you say I'm not ready to talk to somebody, I just need to you know, dip my toes in our website is a lv, that org slash Nebraska. And there you can find all of the information for a support group that's near you if you're to that point. We are doing our education virtually. So if you know there is something that you're interested a certain topic. There are live sessions there are sessions that are what we consider on demand. So you can click on those as is convenient for you. But truthfully, we just we want people to know that you are not alone in this journey. There are resources available for you. There are people that you can talk to and we we really encourage you to take that first step and taking care of yourself if you are a caregiver.

Yes, so important for caregivers not to forget to take care of themselves. that point you made right at the end there because it is it is very taxing on the caregivers and obviously sad to watch your family member suffer from a disease like Alzheimer's. So let's get involved in this walk to end Alzheimer's and help eradicate this disease. As Cassie said, what a celebration it will be when we have our first survivor that we can celebrate. So Cassie, if we want to put a team together and get registered for the walk, what's the best way to do that?

The easiest way is to go to the website alc.org/walk You can go right to the North Platte walk you'll see that we've already raised about $4,000 which is amazing. It's only March. So we're very excited for that. But it is free to get registered. And so you can get your coworkers involved your family I always say no team is too small mine is usually mine and my kiddos so you know small but mighty. But we really encourage people to create those teams and to get their their friends and co workers and family involved because we don't want anybody to think that they're walking this journey alone.

Yeah, for sure. So important and as you mentioned already money coming in for the walk and proud to say the North Platte Eagles club is the top team right now and in raising money so something to be proud of there for sure. They are phenomenal. Don't Want to Miss a Thing Aerosmith, FM 98 One and 14 10am the best of the 70s 80s and 90s. Scotty C joined this morning by broken Elizabeth from people, people's family health services. I always have trouble spitting that out Elizabeth, move that mic a little bit closer to us. We can hear you good. But here we go. We're getting closer. We talked last week about your cool event coming up Monday at Weill bills. And it's happening this Monday the 28th to tell us all about it. 

We are so excited Monday that 28 that wild bills from five to 8pm. It's for high school students homeschooled public school, private school doesn't matter. Just have to be enrolled in high school. And come on out. We've got free pizza, free laser tag free bowling, a bunch of different community resources trying to help young people understand their health, all aspects of what that looks like. We're going to have the police department out, given some resources. Boystown, just different people really wanting to help support the youth in our community and help them understand how to navigate their healthcare and the world that we're in now. Yeah, for

sure. I mean, a topic that's hard for a lot of teenagers to talk about is their health or their sexuality, things like that. So provide a fun environment to where they can come have some fun. And also, like you said, reach out to some of those resources. What's kind of the goal of this event for you? Yeah,

that's a great question. We really just want as a community to come together and support the youth, and let them know what resources are available, where they can go if they have questions if they need help. It's not all about reproduction. We really just want people to know where to go, if they have questions. What is safe about dating and violence about what does a healthy relationship look like? RDAP is going to be there also talking about teen dating violence? And what are warning signs just so really, we can help our young people be safe, be confident in their care, and know where to go? If they have a concern?

Yeah, for sure. I mean, it's important to have that knowledge because when you find yourself in that situation, you're not gonna be a hold up. I'm gonna Google real quick on how I'm supposed to handle this situation. So a lot of parents, as you were telling me a little bit apprehensive about an event like this wondering what are you going to be showing them how to have sex? Are you going to be showing them? That's that's not the goal or the point is to educate them on how to deal with things when they find themselves in certain situations? Right,

exactly. Thanks for bringing that up. Yeah, we were not showing pictures. We don't have videos or nothing like that. Really, our goal is just to support the young people so that they know where to go what is available in North Platte in our surrounding area. If they have a question, if they have a concern, we want them to talk to parents, we want them to have that safe adult in their life. And so our first mode of help is always that. But if that's not available to them, or they're not sure how to navigate that conversation, that's what we want to try and help with. That's why the police department is they're really just trying to bring a safe, happy face to sometimes a scary situation.

Yeah, for sure. Ignorance is bliss. And it's easy to sit back and think you know, Mike, my daughter, my son is never going to face that situation. We live in North Platte, it's safe. But it does happen here. We know from talking with our DAP, we know from talking with bridge of hope that these are real problems, real issues that our kids face. And maybe the parents don't want to have that conversation with them. That's why you guys are there right? Maybe a little easier for you as an outsider to have that conversation.

Sometimes it's that, but also sometimes it's a friend, or sometimes they watched something on TV or they saw a movie that was troubling. And they're not really sure how to navigate that sometimes they watch something on a YouTube video. And it's just a question. They're not sure how to process they hear somebody talking in the hallway. And it might not be them personally. But that's part of the reason that we want people to come hang out with your friends, bring a friend, have a game of bowling, you know, you don't have to stay in this resource room the whole time. But just know that we're there to help to support and take a car, a car at home if something happens on the way. You know, in a year from now, you're wondering, Hey, what was that? That name? You've got the resource there and you know who to call? Yeah, for

sure. And an awesome tool to have in your toolbox for sure it's happening this Monday from five to eight. While Bill's as Elizabeth said, it's open to all ninth through 12th graders whether you go to public school or Catholic school or you're homeschooled. Everyone welcome free laser tag free bowling free pizza. My favorite part though, is our own Derek PAC is going to be there live on location from four to six on Monday. So he's going to be there pumping it up for you, too. Before we let you go, why don't you talk a little bit about some of the other services that are provided by people's family health services. Yeah, so

we're an age See that outside of doing really awesome fun events, offers the WIC program, which is Women, Infants and Children. It's a food supplemental program for children under five and pregnant and breastfeeding people. And then we also offer the reproductive health services for uninsured and underinsured people. Anybody with private insurance is certainly welcome to come as well. But we work on a sliding fee scale. So money doesn't have to be an issue for us. We can do is a payment plan, Pay As You Go type thing. We do wellness exams. That's why I brought Brooke here with us. So she's our provider on Thursdays at the clinic, and we can do pap smears, breast exams, cancer screenings, those kinds of things, as well as STD testing, treatment and birth control.

Yeah, a lot of great services provided at times you get some grants to provide some of the preventative health services and things like that, like we talked about last week. So you guys are there for the people for their health and don't miss this event. While Bill's Monday five to eight. It's all free. And you're gonna learn some important information. It's a food supplemental program for children under five and pregnant and breastfeeding people. And then we also offer the reproductive health services for uninsured and underinsured people. Anybody with private insurance is certainly welcome to come as well. But we work on a sliding fee scale. So money doesn't have to be an issue for us. We can do is a payment plan, Pay As You Go type thing. We do wellness exams. That's why I brought Brooke here with us. So she's our provider on Thursdays at the clinic, and we can do pap smears, breast exams, cancer screenings, those kinds of things, as well as STD testing, treatment and birth control.</p><p>Scott Carlson  5:51  </p><p>Yeah, a lot of great services provided at times you get some grants to provide some of the preventative health services and things like that, like we talked about last week. Jeff, thanks for coming in. Oh, you bet. Good morning. So we were talking, first of all, dang, we got above zero. So we're both happy for that. And where to ball me one balmy why me? Why are you right now. And it is 909 in the city, Jeff here to talk about obviously some cool offerings at North Platte Community College. Let's start with that trucking class. We were talking about that the last week we didn't have a date nailed down. But yeah, we do. 

What's finally we kept saying coming in. In 2022 CDL truck driving class. Well, we have a date. Now it is right around the corner. March 28, is when we're going to start this class. It's a five-week class. Couple requirements, you do need to have your commercial Learner's Permit before you can take the class got to make sure you're legal to drive our vehicle. The cost of the class is its five week class, you're gonna get about 200 hours of training. Half of it being in the classroom, half of it being behind the wheel. We're going to provide the truck and trailer and the instruction obviously, cost of the class is 3950. Just a hair under $4,000 for five weeks. Good thing is there is financial assistance available for those who qualify. Okay. So don't let cost of the class scary, there's a good chance you might qualify for some financial assistance. That's exciting. That's a big program that the department has worked on for a long time and it's finally coming to fruition. Yeah, I mean, I think before he had to go to Hastings to get this kind of training, so you had to drive now you can get out of the area. That's awesome. Good stuff. What else we got going on? Well, we want to talk about it's gonna get warm next week eventually. Yeah, yes. Some fun in person things. Of course, these are still inside. We've got some weightlifting classes coming up in March. Five week classes. We've got coed weightlifting starting on Monday, March 7, it's in the evening. 630 To 730 cost of that is $69. If you wait two days on Wednesdays, ladies, we've got women's only weightlifting. 630 to 730, Wednesday nights for five weeks $69 for that as well. I shouldn't say women only we do have an opportunity for youth. If you're 13 years or older. There there will be an opportunity for you to lift on those Wednesday nights as well. Yeah, Camden grasp, make our trainer Certified Trainer out of the college he works with all the athletes out there, he instructs that class he's fantastic, fun guy and you're gonna learn a lot. Yeah, it's gonna make you work but you're gonna get your money's important. Obviously, not only the health benefits but important to know how to live properly because you really hurt yourself and Camden like you said an expert. So yes, he's gonna teach you the proper ways to lift we think we know how to lift weights, but he go to the gym, you can see well, correct? Yes. So make sure you're doing it. Right. Right. weightlifting and what else Jeff, I know you got more, we got more Mark work Meister is going to put on a financial survival for retirement class. That is a two two evening class is going to be done to march 8, march 15. Okay, but I had that in front of me. I don't know what day of the week that is. March 8, and March 15, from six to 940 $9. You can do that as a couple the $49 will cover both of you if you come as a couple, three hours each evening Mark might have some new challenges looks like the markets taking a turn with the world events. And I've always said you're never too young to think about retirement. I mean that money spins a lot faster than it earns and builds up. Our first one is the weekend of April 9 and 10th at the college motorcycle safety $229 for the two days it's a great class you'll get a voucher when it's done to go ahead and take it to the DMV and get your endorsement put on your license you'll be ready to ride Yeah, for sure. Hey, no big deal to you got to pass that test. And yes, and I for one would have no clue what I was doing. So I need a class like this. If I want to ride a motorcycle, motorcycle season though right around&nbsp;the corner.

&nbsp;Finally, if you want to want to take some zoom classes if you want to get back inside, see in the warmth of your house. We've got two really cool ones coming up in March. We talked about this one before the great detective some film and literature. That's going to be a four-week class starting on March 22. It's zoom you can take it anywhere even outside of our college area. You could take it out of state if you want to do $69 for the four weeks, meets for two hours each evening starting on March 22. In Central Time is from seven to nine. Great class. Another one. I don't know if we mentioned this one before propaganda in the Third Reich. Oh, that might be time to get a little historical. Yes. That's going to be on Mondays starting March 25. Again, that's four weeks. Zoom. We're joined in the studio by Trey Weisenberger. From sustainable beef, Trey, thanks for coming in. Hey, man, good to see you. It's a busy time of year for cattle ranchers. It's always busy. Yeah. cattle ranchers, let's be honest. So thank you for taking some time to come talk with us. I just wanted to catch up with you. And let people know kind of what's going on with sustainable beef. It's been about a month since we last talked with you. So what are what are things looking like? How are things going,

um, you know, I, everywhere I go, I get, I get questions about what's going on with the plan, what's moving on here. And we're still in, in the CRA, which is Community Redevelopment Authority, who now the Chairman has been elected or appointed senator. And so we, we've got to fill that void. And we're still working on that I visit with the mayor very, very frequently, and we are on the same page and pulling the wagon in the same direction. And I feel like he's gonna make a great deal for the city because this is a marriage and a relationship between us both right. And I think Mayor Keller has done a great job representing the city and the concerns I have, you know, it's a billion dollar impact, and that's gonna, you know, do you want the growth of stagnation, or you do want the pain, the stagnation, or the pain of growth, because there's gonna, you know, choose your heart, right? Gonna be a little bit of both. And when a billion dollar impact comes down 800 new jobs, there's going to be some pain, some growing pains. So we're going to try to filter that as much as we can housing, and a lot of other issues, but we are working on it every day. I feel like this will be through the CRA in two or three weeks. And then that gives us the deed to the ground. And then we can move forward as a company and start building.

Yeah, I was gonna say once you get to that point, then the handcuffs kind of come off, you guys can do a little more. So let's let's fast forward, let's say you're through the CRA, what are some of the things that you can start doing at that point,

Obviously, so this is a wild figure and hard to even wrap your mind around, but we have to move 47,000 loads of dirt. Wow, to fill in that, you know, retired wastewater lagoon, which is a huge burden. And that's why it's a great deal for the city because who was going to spend, you know, 10s of millions just to get it to where we could build it. And that's really what the TIF money's for, is to you know, kind of set back some of those costs of the dirt. So there is some locals already getting some contracts and talking with our main contractor Smedley brothers out of Fort Morgan, Colorado to start moving dirt. And that'll be a process. You know, what's gonna take and we're looking at a two year build here guys, um, I so mean you probably have this conversation a lot. Next two years where we were going good. Yeah, so we're either the we're gonna be through the CRA here pretty quick. And then we can start you know, moving some dirt and the designs are done. I feel like this is gonna this is all gonna make it I got to tell North pie. This is gonna move pretty fast. Yeah, once we get through this weather, and becomes a little more favorable and longer hours, you know, daylight time, we can really start moving. So yeah,

It's good talking with Trey Wasserburg from sustainable beef TT Angus said, you know, it's obviously sustainable beef in big news around Southwest and central Nebraska. But it's also been big news nationally. I know you've been on Fox News. Yeah. Talk about what you're kind of here. We know. Governor Ricketts has been behind the project from the beginning. We know Markella hair. Kelleher is very favorable towards the project. What do you've been hearing kind of from on a national level though, because I know they've been reaching out to you.

Yeah, that's right. I mean, when's the last time that we had not one but our Northlight was on Fox News twice a week and I've stayed in contact with Laura Ingram and her show and we actually had the New York Times in North Platte last week I went out to the ranch and everybody loves our story. So I got to show them take them out to where my ranch where I live and show them the cow calving. And I drove 20 miles to our family feedlot South Hershey showed them cattle on test and then I showed them the site all within 40 miles North Platte, and they love our closed loop system here. So yeah, there's a lot I've had contact with the today show as well. And everybody's just kind of watching. This has never been done and&nbsp; I got told the other day by a nationally renowned cattlemen that train no matter where this goes, you should be proud because no one's ever got this far. And that's a compliment to North Platte for embracing this impact. You know, we went through Gary Pearson, told me that we went through 14 political processes, never got to no vote. And I'm really proud of North Platte for that that shows unwavering support. The mayor and city administrator Matt Kevin have really dug their toes in and gone to work for North Platte. And I'm really we should be very proud of them. And there's a lot of fortune 500 companies watching what how we're reacting and how we embrace this project because with economic growth comes challenges and they want to know if real America is going to embrace it. So how we react in the next six months is imperative for our success. I think the rail Park Bill obviously has a really good chance they're in the Union camera I testified for the ARPA funds for sustainable beef as well. That sounds like it's got great bipartisan support. You know, when's the last time I testified two weeks ago at the unicameral in, in regards to lb 783, which is the same old beef ARPA fund. And I had 20 Vargas who's a, who's a Omaha Democratic senator who has three packing plants in his district. And he he's on the Appropriations Committee, and he watched me testify and I had compliments, but both on both sides aisle, that's unheard of for me. And he followed me out and shook my hand. I said, I said, Senator Vargas, I just got to ask you. What's it like living with three packing plants here? District? Eight go, sir. I can't imagine life without them. And, you know, that's bipartisan support. Senator McConnell just picked up our bill. Because of the absence of our former senator, he had to pick up the bill by Tuesday, kind of a wild 10 days here in North Latin, but it wasn't hard to find support. So there's a lot of a lot of people gunning for this. I mean, this just doesn't impact on North Platte. This impacts the beef industry as a whole. The region, the nation, there's a lot of people watching what we're doing.

Yeah, for sure. Trey Wasserburger sustainable beat before we let you go, Trey, you mentioned you got to get through the CRA process. And then things that what is the timeline, though, that you guys initially gave he still kind of comp confident with that timeline as far as when we might see this plant in production.&nbsp;

Yeah, I think, you know, it'll be we're hoping for 2024. And, you know, when we started this, guys, this was pre-pandemic. And we're trying to do something that's never been done and be entrepreneurs and innovative in a global pandemic. And if you've, if you've turned on the news, last two days, the world's different not just in North Platte, but globally. Ukraine has a massive agriculture community, and commodities all over the board. And so we've had a lot of issues to go through it for, for Greenfield startup company. We've had to face incredible adversity. And this is that's a testament to our team and a testament to this town and community leaders that we were going to have to go through more than most to get this bill, I still think you'll see production in early 2024 spot for our producers to take their cattle as well as feeders. And I think that's the goal and we're gonna end it there's a I want to say this too. There's a lot of people not just in North Platte working on this but globally. I'm we're in contact with USDA almost every day nationally, okay, really want this to happen. And so there's a lot of people you might not see progress. And you know what, I'm the same way. But AG is not a short-term investment, right? It's just not you know, when I breed the cow I got my family is five years invested in that calf through the supply chain five years. Wow. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. So when things don't move as fast as we'd like, but there's progress every day and it's big battles and we will win the war. Yeah, a

lot of legwork. I know you and rusty put in a ton of work on this and like you said he didn't start the first time we saw yet the City Council this has been going on and then you as you mentioned, you've got COVID that came into play got federal funds going all over the place now. So yeah, it's a different country in a different world for sure but best of luck and we'll get you back in here once we get through the CRA process and start talking about breaking ground in dirt. I feel like this is gonna this is all gonna make it I got to tell North pie. This is gonna move pretty fast. Yeah, once we get through this weather, and becomes a little more favorable and longer hours, you know, daylight time, we can really start moving. So yeah,</p><p>Scott Carlson&nbsp; 2:58  </p><p>It's good talking with Trey Wasserburg from sustainable beef TT Angus said, you know, it's obviously sustainable beef in big news around Southwest and central Nebraska. But it's also been big news nationally. I know you've been on Fox News. Yeah. Talk about what you're kind of here. We know. Governor Ricketts has been behind the project from the beginning. We know Markella hair. Kelleher is very favorable towards the project. What do you've been hearing kind of from on a national level though, because I know they've been reaching out to you.</p><p>Trey Wasserburger  3:25  </p><p>Yeah, that's right. I mean, when's the last time that we had not one but our Northlight was on Fox News twice a week and I've stayed in contact with Laura Ingram and her show and we actually had the New York Times in North Platte last week I went out to the ranch and everybody loves our story. So I got to show them take them out to where my ranch where I live and show them the cow calving. And I drove 20 miles to our family feedlot South Hershey showed them cattle on test and then I showed them the site all within 40 miles North Platte, and they love our closed loop system here. So yeah, there's a lot I've had contact with the today show as well. And everybody's just kind of watching. This has never been done and&nbsp; I got told the other day by a nationally renowned cattlemen that train no matter where this goes, you should be proud because no one's ever got this far. And that's a compliment to North Platte for embracing this impact. You know, we went through Gary Pearson, told me that we went through 14 political processes, never got to no vote. And I'm really proud of North Platte for that that shows unwavering support. The mayor and city administrator Matt Kevin have really dug their toes in and gone to work for North Platte. And I'm really we should be very proud of them. And there's a lot of fortune 500 companies watching what how we're reacting and how we embrace this project because with economic growth comes challenges and they want to know if real America is going to embrace it. So how we react in the next six months is imperative for our success. I think the rail Park Bill obviously has a really good chance they're in the Union camera I testified for the ARPA funds for sustainable beef as well. That sounds like it's got great bipartisan support. You know, when's the last time I testified two weeks ago at the unicameral in, in regards to lb 783, which is the same old beef ARPA fund. And I had 20 Vargas who's a, who's a Omaha Democratic senator who has three packing plants in his district. And he he's on the Appropriations Committee, and he watched me testify and I had compliments, but both on both sides aisle, that's unheard of for me. And he followed me out and shook my hand. I said, I said, Senator Vargas, I just got to ask you. What's it like living with three packing plants here? District? Eight go, sir. I can't imagine life without them. And, you know, that's bipartisan support. Senator McConnell just picked up our bill. Because of the absence of our former senator, he had to pick up the bill by Tuesday, kind of a wild 10 days here in North Latin, but it wasn't hard to find support. So there's a lot of a lot of people gunning for this. I mean, this just doesn't impact on North Platte. This impacts the beef industry as a whole. The region, the nation, there's a lot of people watching what we're doing.</p><p>Scott Carlson  6:12  </p><p>Yeah, for sure. Trey Wasserburger sustainable beat before we let you go, Trey, you mentioned you got to get through the CRA process. And then things that what is the timeline, though, that you guys initially gave he still kind of comp confident with that timeline as far as when we might see this plant in production.&nbsp;</p><p>Trey Wasserburger  6:29  </p><p>Yeah, I think, you know, it'll be we're hoping for 2024. And, you know, when we started this, guys, this was pre-pandemic. And we're trying to do something that's never been done and be entrepreneurs and innovative in a global pandemic. And if you've, if you've turned on the news, last two days, the world's different not just in North Platte, but globally. Ukraine has a massive agriculture community, and commodities all over the board. And so we've had a lot of issues to go through it for, for Greenfield startup company. We've had to face incredible adversity. And this is that's a testament to our team and a testament to this town and community leaders that we were going to have to go through more than most to get this bill, I still think you'll see production in early 2024 spot for our producers to take their cattle as well as feeders. And I think that's the goal and we're gonna end it there's a I want to say this too. There's a lot of people not just in North Platte working on this but globally. I'm we're in contact with USDA almost every day nationally, okay, really want this to happen. And so there's a lot of people you might not see progress. And you know what, I'm the same way. But AG is not a short-term investment, right? It's just not you know, when I breed the cow I got my family is five years invested in that calf through the supply chain five years. Wow. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. So when things don't move as fast as we'd like, but there's progress every day and it's big battles and we will win the war. I know you and rusty put in a ton of work on this and like you said he didn't start the first time we saw yet the City Council this has been going on and then you as you mentioned, you've got COVID that came into play got federal funds going all over the place now.
