Kelliher also spoke about public hearing that was held in second reading for the tax refinance process for the second phase of the Lakeview apartments on west A street. The owners of the apartments are looking at adding 120 more units.

The council did approve two stop signs that will be placed at 17th Stree and Cody near the Buffalo School. Finally the Mayor spoke about the city creating a U-shaped paving, sewer and water district in the Industrial Park near where the Cabela's Call Center was located. The reason for the new U-shaped road that will come back to State Farm road is to have shovel-ready streets in place for future development in the area.
