State Games Entry Fees to Increase After April 22

LINCOLN, Neb.  — Organizers of the Cornhusker State Games are encouraging athletes to complete their registration before their price increase at 11:59 p.m. on April 22. Registration details and a full list of sports are available at CornhuskerStateGames.com.

Now in its 42nd year, the Cornhusker State Games will run July 9-19, 2026, featuring more than 70 sports across over 50 venues statewide, including Lincoln, Omaha, Grand Island, Fremont, Columbus, North Platte, and additional Nebraska communities. More than 8,000 competitors are expected to participate in this statewide celebration of sport.

The Games welcome participants of all ages and abilities, with divisions for youth, adults, and seniors. Whether aiming for podium finish or simply looking for a fun, active summer experience, participants can find a suitable opportunity. Many sports offer age- and skill based divisions, helping create a competitive and inclusive environment for all.

The Nebraska Sports Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission of providing quality competition for amateur athletes of all ages and abilities and promoting healthy and active lifestyle choices.
